i found the exhebition is interesting, as we know, our culture already 'meet and greet' each other since the period of majapahit, if im not mistaken, during this period, we were considered as worthy oponent and also trading partner by the middle kingdom (china)

batik and carvings are one of the acculturation product where the symbols that demonstrated, symbolizes the chinese mythical creatures too. .
